Palace Capital awards £35m construction contract for development in York

Property investor Palace Capital said it had awarded a £35m contract to Yorkshire-based Caddick Group to undertake the construction phase of its Hudson Quarter development in York.

Demolition had already been completed and construction was expected to commence this month, with completion scheduled for early 2021.

The development scheme would comprise of 127 apartments, 34,500 square feet of offices, 5,000 square feet of commercial space plus car parking.
