Oil and gas explorer Lekoil said Friday its OPL 310 license would not expire before the Federal High Court's ruling on the license due in March.

'The court granted Lekoil's application which effectively means that the license will not expire before the judgement of the Court is given on 28 March 2019,' the company said.

The company took the decision last year to pursue legal action in a bid to speed up the consent process for its acquisition of the additional 22.86% interest in OPL 310. At 8:00am: (LON:LEK) Lekoil share price was +0.08p at 10.29p
