Frontier Developments profit jumps after release of new video game

Video game developer Frontier Developments booked a large rise in first-half profit, driven by the release of new title 'Jurassic World Evolution'.

Pre-tax profit for the six months through November jumped to £17.3m, up from £3.0m on-year.

Revenue more than tripled to £64.7m after the new game's launch in June and amid continued sales of previous launches 'Elite Dangerous' and 'Planet Coaster'.
