Wizz Air passenger numbers jump 10% in January

Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air Holdings flew 10% more passengers during the month of January on-year, as it added new routes to and from Macedonia, Romania and Albania.

Passenger volumes rose to around 2.3m on the back of a 9.5% increase in flying capacity.

The company's load factor rose 0.4 percentage points to 88.1%.
