AfriTin Mining expects first production from Uis mine in second quarter

AfriTin Mining said it expected maiden tin and tatalum production form the first phase of its Uis mine in Namibia in the second quarter of 2019.

The company said it had also decided to modify the phase one plant to add production capacity and also produce a tantalum concentrate.

Stock piling of ore was proceeding well, AfriTin said, following a first blast in December.
