Frenkel Topping Group confirmed Thursday full-year results met expectations as assets added in 2018 increased assets under management.

Assets added in 2018 increased by 43% over those added in 2017 and, as a result, assets under management at 31 December 2018 increased to £778m, the company said.

The company's 2018 AUM growth reflected the significant investments made in its HR, marketing and IT systems in 2018, Frenkel said.

The expert witness segment remained a key driver to building a pipeline for future AUM growth, the company said. Expert witness instructions in 2018 increased by 30% over 2017, paving the way for a 'solid' start to the company's 2019 financial year, Frenkel added.
