Kibo Energy says Benga power plant feasibility study running ahead of schedule

Kibo Energy said a definitive feasibility study for its 65%-owned Benga power project in Mozambique was progressing 'well ahead' of schedule.

The project includes a 150-300 megawatt coal-fired power station was being developed with partner Termoelectrica de Mozambique de Benga.

Negotiations with potential coal suppliers and private power off-takers were progressing well, and would receive priority attention during the first half of 2019, the company said.
