European Metals receives approach to buy Czech lithium mine

European Metals Holdings said it had received an approach from Krupa Global Investments to acquire its Cinovec lithium mine in the Czech Republic.

European Metals said it received a letter from Krupa on Monday purporting to make an indicative offer for the mine.

'The purported inidcative offer letter however does not contain any detail with regards to price, terms or conditions,' the company said.

'In light of the absence of this information European Metals does not consider this to be an offer to which it can give consideration at this time.'

European Metals said it went public after it has become aware that Krupa had released the letter to the Czech press.

It confirmed that it had no discussion with Krupa on the matter.

At 1:15pm: (LON:EMH) European Metals Holdings share price was +5.5p at 21.5p
