Tarsus, a business-to-business media group, has reported like-for-like bookings growth of 8% for 2017.
Trading to date in the second half of the year has been in line with our expectations with key events performing well and buyers up 7%.
The flagship event in the Connect portfolio, Connect Expo, was held in New Orleans in August and produced a strong performance, the company said.
At Labelexpo Europe, buyers were up by 6% on the previous edition and re-bookings at the event for the 2019 edition reached 84%.
Douglas Emslie, Tarsus group managing director, said: "Our busier second half of the year has been strong, as expected, with our largest shows continuing to make good progress. We are delighted by the performance of the more recent additions to the group's portfolio in the key markets of the Americas and China, where we are progressively scaling the business.
"We expect good performances from our remaining shows in 2017 and the group remains confident of delivering a strong result for the year as a whole."
