Thor Mining has noted positive assay results from the recent drilling programme at its Pilot Mountain tungsten project in Nevada.
"These very positive results are significant for the Pilot Mountain project," said executive chairman Mick Billing.
"From here we will commission the preparation of a maiden resource estimate for the Garnet deposit, building upon the existing Pilot Mountain resource inventory."
Billing added that at Desert Scheelite the company had extended the known mineralisation to the east, and had exciting targets for higher grade eastern extensions at depth along with potential for parallel zones immediately to the north.
