Cairn Homes CFO to step down

Cairn Homes has announced that chief financial officer Eamonn O'Kennedy has decided to leave the company.

O'Kennedy joined Cairn Homes plc in January 2015 as CFO and was instrumental in preparing the company for its listing on the London Stock Exchange in June 2015 and subsequently led the finance and investor relations functions.

The board will commence a recruitment process to appoint a new CFO and O'Kennedy will remain with the company in his role until a successor is appointed.

O'Kennedy said: "I have been delighted to play a key role in the IPO, initial set-up and development of the Company to its position of strength today, with a market capitalisation of in excess of €900m. It has been a pleasure working with Michael, my colleagues and the Board and I wish them every success in the future, as I focus my attention towards my next opportunity."

Chief executive Michael Stanley said: "I would like to thank Eamonn for his valuable contribution to Cairn since he joined two years ago. His commitment, input and professionalism were exemplary throughout his time with the Company and he was instrumental in the establishment and delivery of our business to this point. I wish him every success in his future career."
