Churchill China ahead of forecasts

Churchill China's board now expects the operating performance for 2016 to be ahead of current market estimates and well ahead of 2015.

It says trading in the final quarter of the year was ahead of earlier expectations and performance in export markets has remained strong reflecting continued progress with new products and more favourable exchange rates.

Cash and deposit balances are also expected to exceed current market estimates.

The company intends to announce its preliminary results for the year to 31 December on 28 March.
