Kanabo Group PLC - Tel Aviv-based medical cannabis company - Extends its existing contract between the GP Service and a ‘major UK food retailer’, which it didn't name. Kanabo says the recently bought GP Service, under the new contract extension, would now provide live video consultation services with prescriptions available for collection through the GP Service partner network, which covers over 4,000 pharmacies across the UK. In addition, the GP Service will offer fit notes and referrals. Consultations will be available between 8am and 8pm everyday all year round, it adds.

GP Service Chief Executive Officer Atul Devani says: ‘The extension of this agreement reflects the successful relationship we have had since we began working together in 2019. Our integration with the NHS summary care records ensures our services are both safe & secure and we now look forward to extending our services to include virtual GP consultations with automated digital prescriptions.’
