DeepMatter Group PLC - Glasgow, Scotland-based digital chemistry data company - Hires former IP Group PLC chief executive Alan Aubrey as its own non-executive chair ahead of an annual general meeting due to take place on May 27. Aubrey will replace Karen Bach, who is retiring from the board and leaving the company.

Aubrey has a 20-year career in founding, developing and growing disruptive technology businesses. He served as the chief executive officer at IP Group until 2021. He is currently the non-executive chair of OxCCU Ltd, an Oxford University spin-out focused using carbon dioxide and renewable energy to make sustainable fuels, chemicals and plastics.

Aubrey says: ‘Our vision is to build the capabilities for scientists to access and exploit vast amounts of chemical reaction data.’

Current stock price: 0.13 pence, up 6.3%
