Jersey-based company t42 IoT Tracking Solutions PLC on Tuesday was awarded a commercial order for its services from Olimp Bulgaria Ltd.

The real-time tracking, security, and monitoring solutions provider for the container and freight market was trading 5.3% higher in London on Tuesday afternoon at 12.32 pence.

t42 said that they have delivered the first order for around 250 Lokies Smart Tracking Lock units to exporter of security seals Olimp Bulgaria. The order was for an undisclosed amount and is to be used by Bulgaria's national customs authorities.

The order follows the completion of an ‘extensive’ pilot programme that ran for over a year and a half. It included working with Bulgaria's national customs authority.

Chief Executive Avi Hartmann said: ‘This order shows how t42 is expanding in new geographies, sectors and markets. It demonstrates that our products compare favourably when tested against competitors.’
