Chapel Down Group PLC said on Monday that Chief Financial Officer Robert Smith bought 500,000 shares in the wine company, spending £212,000.
Smith purchased the shares at 42.5 pence each in a single transaction on Friday, raising his total holding to 648,035 shares. This is approximately 0.41% of the company's issue share capital.
Chapel Down was trading unchanged in London on Monday afternoon at 0.47 pence.
