Caerus Mineral Resources PLC - copper miner in Cyprus - Says first batch of partial assays of chip-channel samples from recent exploration work on the Kambia mine at its Kapedes project licences in Cyprus have returned peak gold assays of 7.4 grammes per tonne of gold, 6.5 grammes per tonne of gold and 5.3 grammes per tonne of gold. Says the results are encouraging enough to warrant further follow up work. This includes detailed structural and geological mapping to generate targets for future drill testing.

‘The combination of high-grade gold assays at regular intervals all along the 175 meters strike length of the target defined to date makes for a readymade drill target and another promising opportunity for Caerus,’ Chief Executive Officer Martyn Churchouse says.
