Wizz Air passenger numbers jump 20% in September

Budget carrier Wizz Air said it carried 20% more passengers in September on-year, after it added new routes to Poland, Hungary and Romania.

Passenger volumes for the month of September amounted to 3,816,913, up from 3,173,280 in September 2018.

The Hungary-based company's load factor rose by 0.5 percentage points to 94.5%.
